How long does a site take?

A first site or a redesign usually takes 4 to 6 weeks from kickoff to launch. A smaller site can be shorter. You get that timeline in writing before work starts.

Will I lose my Google rankings if we redesign?

Rankings get lost when the old page addresses stop working. I map every old page to its new one before launch.
